Configuration‐dependent stretchable all‐solid‐state supercapacitors and hybrid supercapacitors

Given the rise in popularity of wearable electronics that are able to deform into desirable configurations while maintaining electrochemical functionality, stretchable and flexible (hybrid) supercapacitors (SCs) have become increasingly interest as innovative energy storage devices. Their outstanding power density, long lifetime with low capacitance loss, appropriate particular hybrid cases make them ideal candidates for electronics. The aim this review paper is provide an in-depth discussion these SCs ranging from fabrication electro-mechanical properties. This begins a short overview fundamentals charge mechanisms different types multivalent metal-ion SCs. research methods leading up current state then presented. followed by presentation challenges associated configurations. Proposed novel strategies maximize elastic properties stretchable/flexible or quasi-solid-state classified pros cons each shown. advances mechanical expected advancements future discussed last section.
